300 Series
The 300 Series is Toyota’s top-tier touring wagon – a full-time 4WD with a 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel V6, solid towing credentials and proper off-road hardware. It’s offered in six grades, from the fleet-spec GX through to the GR Sport and Sahara ZX. For 2025, it scores updated safety gear, better infotainment and a few tweaks to trim, but it’s still the same capable big cruiser underneath.

Prado
Now in its next-gen form, the 250 Series Prado has gone back to a boxier, tougher look while picking up Toyota’s mild-hybrid 2.8L diesel. It’s built for touring but still has low-range and a decent payload, making it a practical all-rounder. Supply’s tight and demand is strong, but it’s available to order if you’re willing to wait.

70 Series
The 70 is still kicking, and Toyota’s kept it relevant with an optional auto and a bit of added safety tech. It’s a proper work truck – live axles, low-range, and a big payload. Available in cab-chassis, Troopy and wagon formats, though some variants like the auto wagon are temporarily off the table. If you need something built tough and simple, this is it.
