The Isuzu MU-X received its latest update at the beginning of 2025, where the seven-seat off-roader received a suite of enhancements in design, technology and safety.
The 4×4 range consists of four variants: LS-M, LS-U, LS-T, and the top-spec X-Terrain. The MU-X range is powered predominantly by Isuzu’s venerable 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 140kW and 450Nm, running through a six-speed automatic transmission – a 110kW/350Nm 1.9-litre turbo-diesel is also available. The MU-X is renowned for its balance between off- and on-road capabilities.

Warranty
The MU-X comes with a six-year/150,000km warranty and up to seven years of roadside assistance, provided servicing is maintained through Isuzu dealerships. It features a flat-price servicing program, with the first five scheduled services (up to 75,000km or 5 years) priced at $469 each. Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000 km to keep warranty and roadside coverage valid.

The MU-X 4×4 range starts at approximately $53,400 for the LS-M 1.9L and goes up to $75,100 for the range-topping X-Terrain. Mid-tier models include the LS-U ($59,900 for the 1.9L; $61,900 for the 3.0L) the LS-T 3.0L ($67,990), and the Tour Mate ($73,990).
