This current, second-generation of the Volkswagen Amarok was launched in 2023 and is built on the same T6 platform as the hugely popular Ford Ranger.
The current model line-up consists of Core, Life, Style, PanAmericana and Aventura variants, with multiple engine options spanning the range. These engines include a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel producing 184kW and 600Nm; a 2.3-litre turbo-petrol producing 222kW and 450Nm, and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel producing 125kW and 405Nm for lower-spec models. The Amarok is equipped with a 4Motion All-Wheel-Drive 4×4 system

Warranty
The Amarok comes with a five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty and 12 months of roadside assistance, with servicing required every 12 months or 15,000km. A five-year Care Plan is available, covering the first five services. Some dealers offer promotional packages like five years of free servicing, roadside assistance and warranty.
