How cool is this? Range Rover has taken a 1993 Range Rover Classic and restored it to match its new SV Ultra, creating a pairing that blends classic styling with modern luxury.

The project was completed by the brand’s Classic division and took more than 2000 hours, with a US-market 1993 County Edition used as the starting point.

The Classic wears the same Titan Silver paint as the new SV Ultra, while a number of subtle updates help tie the two together. There’s a set of 16-inch three-spoke wheels finished in Satin Platinum Atlas with diamond-turned rims, updated bonnet lettering and the side body mouldings have been removed for a cleaner look. A plaque under the bonnet marks its significance.

Inside, the cabin mirrors the SV Ultra’s Orchid White and Cinder Grey interior, becoming the first Range Rover Classic to feature Ultrafabrics upholstery. The seats use the same laser-cut pattern and mosaic perforation design as the flagship SUV, while the dashboard, steering wheel and door trims have all been finished to match. Under the bonnet is a 3.9-litre V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.

The restoration also went beyond the cosmetic changes, with the engine, transmission, suspension, steering and braking systems rebuilt to improve reliability and refinement while retaining the vehicle’s original character.

The Range Rover Classic will make its public debut alongside the new SV Ultra at Monterey Car Week, held in California from August 7 to August 16, 2026, before the pair head to auction together.
