Chery Stockman reservations are now open in Australia ahead of the ute’s official sales launch, with customer deliveries commencing from February 1, 2027.
And Chery has sprinkled a little extra into the deal to entice early adopters, with customers who make an online reservation from October 1, 2026, until official sales commence set to receive a $2000 Bunnings gift card and three years (or 45,000km) of complimentary scheduled servicing.
“Opening reservations for the Stockman marks an important milestone for Chery in Australia,” said Lucas Harris, Chief Operating Officer, Chery Australia. “We’ve had a phenomenal response to the Stockman since the first announcement, and the reservation program gives customers the opportunity to secure their place ahead of the official sales launch, while also receiving a valuable pre-launch offer.”
As we previously reported, the Stockman is set to launch with a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain producing a claimed 350kW and 800Nm. It will offer up to 100km of electric-only range on the NEDC test cycle, with claimed fuel consumption of 2.0L/100km and a 3500kg braked towing capacity.
The Stockman will get four-wheel drive, all-terrain tyres, triple differential locks, crawl control and tight-turn assist, along with 247mm of ground clearance. It measures 5450mm long, 2010mm wide and 1890mm tall, with a 3250mm wheelbase and a 1560mm x 1560mm cargo tub.
Suspension comprises double wishbones up front and leaf springs at the rear, with Chery previously confirming that the suspension and driver assistance systems will be locally tuned for Australian models by Premcar.
Inside, the Stockman will feature leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control and premium audio. A petrol-powered variant is also due to join the range later in 2027.
“The Stockman represents another significant step in the expansion of the Chery brand in Australia, and we look forward to sharing more details with customers as we move closer to its official launch,” Harris said.
Australian pricing, model grades and final specifications are yet to be confirmed, with more details due closer to the ute’s arrival in Australian showrooms.
